[FR] En 2012, la Région Rhône-Alpes fêtera le tricentenaire de la naissance de Jean-Jacques Rousseau (né le 28 juin 1712). Pour la région, cet anniversaire est l’occasion unique de rappeler les liens étroits qui l’unissent au célèbre penseur. Contrairement à d’autres célébrités du 18e siècle (Mozart, Voltaire…), on s’est vite rendu compte du peu d’iconographie sur Rousseau. Bref, pas d’images à se mettre sous la souris !
On est donc parti sur une piste typographique. En imbriquant 2012 avec Rousseau, on obtient un raccourci visuel très impactant qui s’inscrit dans la continuité du logo typographique de la région. La modernité des idées de Rousseau est mise en avant à travers l’utilisation de codes visuels simples et contemporains (typographie modulaire, effet pochoir, transparence). La simplicité du signe est compréhensible internationalement. Projet non retenu.
[EN] In 2012, the Rhône-Alpes Region will celebrate the tercentenary of the birth of Jean-Jacques Rousseau (born 28 June 1712).
