The Powering Past Coal Alliance (PPCA) is a coalition of national and sub-national governments, businesses, and partners working to advance the phasing-out of coal and transition to clean energy around the world. The PPCA is one of the key organizations leading the conversation of fighting climate change and has frequent high-profile events and news moments that require comms support.
THE CHALLENGE
How can we elevate, engage, and educate our online audiences about the latest high-profile developments in PPCA's coal phase-out work throughout the world?
THE SOLUTION
We created numerous social media content—ranging from static to animation and video—to capture and convey the most critical messaging points in the comms narrative in a professional and engaging way, attracting not only insider media and news attention but also engagement from regular audiences.
THE RESULT
1. Supported the PPCA with social media content creation through their biggest events, in particular their annual Summit in March 2021 and COP26 in November 2021.
2. Created unique animated social content that has amassed thousands of views on Twitter.
3. Developed video content from scratch for PPCA's mainstage event at COP26, attended by numerous ministers and delegates.
