Who Owns What?
In 2019 the government passed the LOTA Act (Land Owner Transparency Act). The act will put an end to hidden ownership, money laundering, and ensure everyone pays property transfer taxes.
LTSA (Land Title and Survey Authority) will be responsible for administering the act and created a new registry called, LOTR (Land Owner Transparency Registry). This is a first of its kind registry requiring all landowners, including trusts, partnerships and corporations to declare who owns what in BC.

We created an identity that helps the General Public and Realtors see LOTR as an indispensable and trusted resource of land ownership in BC. A brand interaction that inspires confidence in the registry's accuracy through a personality they felt secure, empathetic, pragmatic and insightful.
