Surrey Hospital Foundation - Campaign

Keep it in Surrey.

Every day, Surrey loses patients to surrounding hospitals instead of being treated at local facilities. Surrey Hospitals Foundation needed to rally the community to keep unstoppable care at home.

Surrey's hospital facilities and services struggle to keep up with the needs of a diverse and growing community. Last year alone, 43,000 patients left Surrey to be treated at Vancouver’s Children’s Hospital. For many of Surrey’s patients, travel time can mean the difference between life and death.

The campaign creates a sense of urgency to generate awareness and inspire donations to boost facilities, acquire new talent and keep patients in Surrey.

Keep it in Surrey, launched with a bold TV spot encapsulating a young girl’s journey with a life-threatening emergency. Rather than entering the hospital, the viewer is taken on her journey as Surrey’s doctors rush her out, creating an instant and emotional rallying cry. Print, OOH, digital and social round out the campaign featuring an ambulance crossing the iconic Port Mann Bridge leaving Surrey, illustrating the importance of keeping unstoppable health care in the city.
