Emerald Lake
"Emerald Lake" belongs to the magnesium sulfate subtype salt lake. It is the third largest artificial lake in Haixi Prefecture, covering an area of more than 26 square kilometers. It produces good quality potassium, magnesium, lithium and other elements.
Because the salt bed is alternately and crystal-clear with light green, emerald green and deep blue lake water, the locals call it "Emerald Lake".
