Walter P Moore Invitation & Ad Concept
Walter P Moore is an industry-leading structural engineering firm with a wonderful culture of encouraging their employees to learn and grow. While employed with the firm as an administrative assistant, I developed an interest in graphic design.
I was given the opportunity to design an email invitation for my office’s client happy hour series shortly after the marketing team revamped the firm’s branding. I took advantage of the new triangular supergraphic to create a stylized martini glass, reflecting the sophisticated and fun nature of our office culture. The marketing team loved it, and we got an excellent response rate from invitees.
Later on, I learned that the marketing team was developing an ad for an upcoming career fair. I decided to design my own version of the ad for learning purposes. While my concept ultimately wasn’t used, the Marketing Director liked it so much that he asked the firm’s external marketing consultant if they could incorporate similar designs into the firm’s branding moving forward.
