For this game, we aimed to design a unique experience that players could share with each other. We achieved this by implementing controls that required the players to collaborate and communicate with one another.
On the tutorial page, players can practice the controls.

Initially, playtesters expressed concern that the accelerator could simply hold down her button and do nothing else. To fix this, we added acceleration. The longer the key was held down, the faster the player's speed would become, increasing the risk of losing control while allowing skilled players an opportunity to earn points faster.
