Sketchnotes (visual meeting notes) from a strategic planning meeting about the challenges of hotel-based wifi usage and services. Raw visual notes were taken during the three-hour meeting, and after review and revisions with the client, polished versions were produced in my studio. The polished notes were subsequently used in multiple formats, which included letter-sized printing, PDF sharing, and enlargement to poster-sized boards for larger presentations and review.

Below are the side-by-side comparisons of the raw notes and the polished notes. All notes are rendered onto 8.5" x 11" paper. In the meeting, I work into a letter-sized sketchbook, capturing with retractable Sharpies. In the studio, I work on a lightbox to trace the raw, edited notes onto sheets of bright white paper, and render with Faber Castell PITT pens and Prsimacolor markers.
