In telling the story and mission of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) to current, new, and prospective members, the ACC Member Value Prezi presented two unique challenges.
The first was to tell the story in an engaging and visual manner. To do this, we started with the base ACC branding, expanded the color palette, and exteneded it to our bank of downloaded and internally-created visual iconography and illustrations. Eschewing Prezi's stock typography and general aesthetic/design options, we built the visual presentation from scratch, importing all of the images into Prezi and creating "hacks" to cheat the general workings of Prezi to create the storyboard flow and effects we desired.
The second was delivery and presentation. Since presenters were on the road and sometimes without online access, we provided them with USB drives containing both MAC and PC versions of the Prezi. The MAC version, for presenters with Apple laptops, allowed us to disregard Prezi-recommended maximum file and image sizes in order to achieve effects not normally possible with Prezi. The PC version, for presenters with PC laptops, is essentially the same, but with a scaled-down images and finishing sequence in order for the Prezi to run on Windows.
