QSL approached Lloyd Grey Design to design a keepsake commemorative booklet about the artwork the company had commissioned for installation in their Brisbane CBD office.
The challenge was to design a 12 page booklet documenting the journey of the artwork’s commission. The format chosen was a small french-fold booklet, sized in line with other QSL collateral. The french-fold technique helped to give the small booklet a more sizeable feel, and also connected to the layering and two-sided aspect
of the artwork.
The outcome was a carefully considered commemorative piece that took pride of place in QSL’s reception area.
The booklet was given a textural effect through an emboss that was created from a reference photograph of the artwork
