NightOwl approached Klyp to develop a fully integrated digital campaign over Summer 2014–15. Klyp launched the Summer FestivOwl – an omni channel marketing campaign that included deliverables such as a mobile app, responsive website, social strategy and an Owlmobile promo van – with goals to increase in store traffic and attract a younger audience.
My key role in the campaign was the design of campaign brand, mobile app and creation of social content.
The outcome for the mobile app was a vibrant experience with a clear reason to download: guaranteed prizes. Over the course of the campaign the app was downloaded over 33,000 times, with the Spin ‘N’ Win game being played over 500,000 times. The app experience was further enhanced through integration with in store iBeacons.
The app allowed NightOwl to connect with customers in a smarter way, through targeted marketing notifications sent directly to their phones, and real-world incentives to visit in store.
