RIO TINTO: MINES TO MARKETS

Project Overview
In 2012, whilst I was Digital Director at FP Creative, we were asked to submit proposals to Rio Tinto as part of a tender process for the re-launch of their quarterly stakeholder magazine.
The brief was to produce an online replacement for the existing printed ‘Review’ magazine. We were the successful agency in the tender as our pitch was based on building a fully-responsive online magazine that offered an enhanced experience on mobile and tablet devices - unlike the more straightforward ‘page-turner’ publishing options that were also being considered at the time.

The site went live in February 2013 and I worked on the first five issues alongside the editorial team at Rio Tinto and the digital and design teams at FP.
