Project Overview
In 2011 FP Creative, working alongside Santander's sponsorship activation agency Sidhu and Simon Communications, were asked to produce and manage a Facebook campaign to engage with the motorsport fans. The campaign ran for two seasons and during that time we ran numerous competitions and developed a series of F1-related Facebook games which allowed the fans to compete with each other.
For each race or major F1 event we were able to provide exclusive behind-the-scenes images, video and interviews with the drivers and as a result built a 15,000 strong following.
My role here was to lead the project from a web and game design and development point of view. I also worked closely with the client to ensure that all content was appropriate for the channel, ensured that moderation was in place when required and made certain that the competitions were run according to Facebook guidelines.
