Project Overview
As Digital Director at FP Creative I led the team that conceived, designed and built this app for Land Rover which was launched at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.

The Land Rover Media Hub is a kiosk-style iPad app built to disseminate Land Rover and Range Rover news, media information and assets to a global audience.

The app contains digital press packs, resource packs and a news feed, all of which are updated as news stories and information are released by Land Rover.
Project Brief
Working with Land Rover’s PR team we were tasked with the production of digital media assets to support their announcements at the Geneva and New York motor shows.

We were asked to create a strategy to disseminate multiple news and product announcements, in eleven languages, to a global audience over the first quarter of 2014.

Our response was to design and build a media hub iPad app that not only held all the digital press packs, news stories, images, videos and infographics required for the two motor shows, but also had the capability to deliver all future media information to Land Rover’s target audience.
Results
The app was well received by the automotive journalists and the general media as well as individual bloggers and Land Rover owners and enthusiasts. Downloads, daily usage figures and dwell-times were all impressive. In addition, it was featured as F​WA Mobile of the Day ​and awarded first place in the news category at the 2​014 UK Mobile & App Design Awards.
