A project that has its start point in the Jazz song Take Five from David's Brubeck quartet. The project is a new version of the drum score of this song, doing a translation from the drum kit parts into french words: RIDE, CRASH, GROSSE CAISSE, CAISSE CLAIRE, TOM, TOM BASSE, CHARLES. With recorded voices from a french MC (hip hop) Madame Bert, and a French a capella singer, Christoph, the song is a new composition with words, more proximate to poetry. The piece has a different way to understand the tempo: it depends on how long are the words to be said. The project also contemplates how parts of the drum kit are called in different languages. Few drummers around the world collaborate with their recorded voices saying these parts in their languages: Catalonia, Spain, Chile, Colombia, Croatia, Germany, Brasil, Poland, Canada.

We have been invited to produce some posters in resonance with Laura's artwork, artist in residence at art3.
- 28 posters were composed from the screenshots used by Laura for her composition. These 'posters/partitions' were constructed from a grid and a visual code which represent 7 parts of drums.
- 7 posters relate to the score. These are visual transpositions of the 'sound impact' of 7 instruments.
The exhibition organized by art3, was held on 26 november to 12 december 2015 at the square Jeanne de Flandreysy Valence. The printout of posters was made by ENSBA Lyon.

Le projet a pour point de départ la composition "Take Five" de Paul Desmond joué par Dave Brubeck Quartet. Laura Llaneli a isolé la partition de la batterie, et en a traduit les différents éléments en mots : RIDE, CRASH, GROSSE CAISSE, CAISSE CLAIRE, TOM, TOM BASSE, CHARLES. Avec les voix enregistrées du MC français Madame Bert, ainsi que de Christophe, chanteur a capella, le morceau devient une nouvelle composition, dont le tempo repose sur la durée de prononciation des mots tendant vers la poésie. Ce travail présente également la façon dont ces mots sont traduits dans différentes langues. Laura Llaneli a ainsi collaboré avec des batteurs vivant en Espagne, au Chili, en Colombie, en Croatie, en Allemagne, au Brésil ou encore en Pologne et au Canada, tous ont prêté leur voix à cette pièce sonore.

Nous avons été invitées à produire des affiches en résonance avec la pièce sonore de Laura Llaneli, artiste en résidence à art3. - 28 affiches ont été composées à partir de captures écrans du logiciel utilisé par Laura pour réalisé sa composition. Ces "affiches/partitions" sont construites à partir d'une grille et d'un code visuel représentant les 7 instruments de la batterie.
- 7 affiches accompagnent les partitions. Ce sont des transpositions visuelles de "l'impact" sonore des 7 instruments.
L'exposition, organisée par art3, se tenait du 26 novembre au 12 décembre 2015 à l'espace Jeanne de Flandreysy à Valence. Le tirage des affiches a été réalisé par l'ENSBA Lyon.
