I recently traveled to Bozeman, Montana to photograph and interview Mark Levy, a native New Yorker who left the city five years ago to start a new life—and a new music career—out west.
Mark, CJ Blessum and Wilson Raska formed Ranges in 2013, an instrumental rock band that writes and performs music inspired by the mountains and natural landscapes of Montana. What began as creative collaboration between Ranges, A Thousand Arms and The Low Country has already grown to include work from a variety of videographers, photographers, and artists.
