Silicon Cityscapes: A Conceptual Editorial Project
Inspired by some incredible tilt-shift time lapse videos and photographs of cities like New York, I went in search of some old trashed Apple Macs destined for eWaste. Circuit boards from two old iMacs and MacBook became micro cities in this series of conceptual photographs.
Inspired by some incredible tilt-shift time lapse videos and photographs of cities like New York, I went in search of some old trashed Apple Macs destined for eWaste. Circuit boards from two old iMacs and MacBook became micro cities in this series of conceptual photographs.
The rich green and blue logic boards, micro processors and Firewire ports became perfect miniature skyscrapers, office buildings and city blocks.
All of the photographs were lit with natural light and shot using Canon 35mm f1.4 wide angle lens with a close up ring.
