[Winter 2023/24]
Ich habe manchmal das Gefühl, ich müsste ein anderes Leben leben; doch habe ich keinen Schimmer, was für eines das sein, noch wo es lauern könnte. Ich bin mir nicht einmal sicher, ob ich es erkennen würde, läge es eines Tages vor mir. Vielleicht ist das, seit ich einmal davon gelesen habe, nebenan wäre stets eines, das man ebensogut hätte leben können.

More photographs of last winter which didn't fit properly in the other series I've published so far. Therefore, I decided to put them all together. I still remember well, there was a certain moment during a proper whiteout. I left a tree avenue behind, and stepped out into the open field. I walked only little but suddenly I didn't see anything but white. I laughed. I looked around, up and below, and all I could see were my own legs, even my boots vanishing in the knee-deep snow. Apart from that, there was absolutely no point of reference, and I almost felt dizzy. It was such a special moment. There is no doubt to me, I'm a child of winter.
