Drawing for one of guest rooms, with seasonal theme – Summer. After doing some research on traditional Chinese flower symbols and meanings, the choice was for peonies as a symbol of wealth and prosperity. And is considered one of the most beautiful flowers in China. Historically, peonies were grown and enjoyed by Chinese emperors.Xitan Hotel is in Beijing in China, next to Tanzhe Temple, build by Zhejiang Cathaya International co ltd. This artwork has been specially designed for the Summer season guest bedroom, printed on silk and embroidered by hand.
