Stardew Valley Website

Re-Imagine will be a series of projects to exercise and re-design different experiences with products I love. With this series of projects, I hope to improve my UI & UX skills and diversify my portfolio re-designing...

A new Stardew Valley website, using their pixel-art elements

At this stage, we understand the project as a whole: our target audience and everything that could be better on their current website. Since this is a re-design, we already have a pretty solid audience, and the references will be the game's art.

Their current website doesn't take advantage of the most significant thing in this game: their pixel art. It's tough to use them without impacting too much on the performance side, but with some adaptations, I could consistently use their art elements by applying good design practices.

At this stage, I imported numerous game elements and created different sections, compositions, and UI components. I tried to make a pixel-art button that could be efficiently coded, and I think I got an excellent result. I also tried to add more value to the game by adding more sections talking about the features in a friendly and dynamic way.

Their current website didn't have too many sections too. So I added a few call-to-actions to a buy screen where you could select the platform you want the game and proceed with the purchase.
