The 15th Anniversary Of Girona's Auditorium
The Girona Auditorium is a benchmark for musical and cultural activity in the regional capital. In 2021 they celebrated their 15th anniversary. More than ever, at a time when a global pandemic proved so hard on the arts, the Auditorium wanted to reaffirm its tireless energy and joyful commitment to society.

The Visual Identity created specially for the occasion of the 15th Anniversary is the visual expression of the motto Seguirem Vibrant (We will keep vibrating). The number 15 was fragmented and displaced as sound vibrating through space.
Thinking of festivity and joy, we took the Auditorium logo corporate dark red and had the colour fragmented too in an array of vibrating adjacent colours, rich and pinkish reds, energetic oranges and sunny yellows.
The logo was adapted to each of the institutions which the Auditorium partners with, alongside the Congress Hall (Palau de Congressos) and the Foundation itself. Horizontal and stacked versions were delivered.
Having the opportunity to design Out of Home materials, it was our intention that even static graphics played with the perception of vibration, and that in a synesthetic glimpse, visual sound struck like the beat of a drum.
Throughout the year, we created a poster and billboard system so that the musical program gained relevance, and yet the colour vibration could still be perceived in the flickering typography and fragmented image layout.
It has been quite a challenge and an honour to be in the trenches with the cultural agents who have seen their budgets cut and programming cancelled and changed and cancelled once and again. We feel very thankful that graphic design might have helped to communicate and reach the general public so much in need of restorative melodies.
