After Effects - a few exercises

Here are a couple exercises I made while attending to the After Effects module at Odd School. All of these were made by me, with some of the material (mainly greenscreen/video footage) having been provided by our teachers. We were asked to exercise some creativity in their editing and post-production. These were the ones I liked the most, for one reason or another.
A fictional ad. We were provided with a few video clips and asked to mask, trim, edit and color correct to create a dynamic new piece, however we liked.
A promo for BenficaTV. We were provided with the greenscreen footage, having to key it and mask the imperfections, while also creating a visual identity and a full promo. It was quite tricky, because we only had a small amount of footage and there were a lot of bad shadows on the ground. Nevertheless, I think it was a good exercise.
A promo for a fake cup. We were provided the shots of the cup, pre-rendered, and asked to integrate them in a new visual identity, that we were also supposed to develop. I took the chance to experiment with some masks, turbulence and fast shape transitions.
For this piece, we were given a little more than an hour to experiment with shapes. Everything you see here, except for the eyes of the character, were completely created with the in-program shapes of After Effects. I also wanted to experiment with morphing shapes, hence the "normal-guy-shifts-into-metal-dude".
This was one of the first pieces we created from scratch while in the course. We were given an audio track and told to create something that synchronized well with the lyrics and rhythm. Being a huge fan of kynetic typography, I tried making  my own tiny experiment in this style. I liked the color scheme and overall result, even though I think I could've animated it a bit better if I had had some more time.
