About the campaign
As main sponsor of the Tour de France, Škoda wanted to get more commitment and interaction during the Tour de France stages. ACHTUNG! developed a second screen app where people can join a Tour for themselves by predicting wnners of in between sprints, stage winners and gain bonus points with other mini games.
Bringing the specific illustrative style of Tjeerd Broere to life with in game animations.
Since this campaign was a second screen app mainly for iPad users, we couldn’t fall back on richer animation in flash. All of the animations are dynamic: the colors and names of all the cyclists match with the players of the game. The challenge there for was to get the max out of the set boundaries without loosing the desired look and feel.
