Multi-Platform Experience For IBM Clients
My team was tasked with designing IBM's "Download & Go" initiative (enabling our users to install & configure our software directly, regardless if it is desktop software or requires a multi-node cluster.) We created the template experience used by all teams within Analytics to create consistent download, install, configure & run experiences.
At the onset of the project, we realized that "download & go" are middle steps within the user journey of our products. We created Solution Builder as a gorilla project to solve the initial steps of the user journey: Discover, Learn and navigate to Try. The response has been enthusiastic, and our tool is being introduced to a much larger internal & external audience- on the iPad, desktop & the web.
