Assignment: Create a tri-fold package and accompanying outer container to contain an info CD and small booklet to be given to incoming freshman at the Robert Busch School of Design at Kean University.
Implementation: Working to differentiate RBSD from its straight-laced parent Kean University without robbing its viewer of the classic ideals of college life, I wanted this piece to recall a beautiful piece of vintage mail. This illustrates the idea that these new students are about to embark on a major journey. By pairing this concept with a bold color palette and seemingly random yet beautiful imagery, the package works well to excite students about their thrilling future four years.
