CharterSills was brought in to develop the lighting solutions for the demanding project brief. The illumination of key architectural figures and surfaces, tested with extensive full scale mockups and combined with a flexible control system, balances programmatic pragmatics and drama to underscore the variety of moments withinthe home and exterior gardens.

A national jury awarded the project AIA Chicago's highest honorfor design excellence, the 2008 Distinguished Building Honor Award, lauding the exceptional teamwork of design professionals to advance the profession and exceed expectations.
