To celebrate their wedding, Patrícia and André decided to have a ceremony with the aura of a Sunday afternoon family lunch: graceful, welcoming, and joyful. We reached for that feeling in every design decision that went into the invitation, anticipating that which would be the most preeminent feature of the event's decoration: the vibrant green palette, provided by an exuberant presence of plants, flowers, leafs, trees, etc.
Rosemary, one of the most traditional wedding symbols, appears in the envelope, as a plant, and the invite, as an illustration, and was chosen because of the associations it brings with both nature and culinary.
The information on the invitation, in green, contrast with the foil-gold in the couple's name, that helps to set a more sophisticated tone. Printed in translucent paper, front and back interact in a subtle and elegant way.
Green elements were found throughout all of the event's decoration, which allowed us to leave it behind and focus on the elegant simplicity of white ink on kraft paper for the print material used during the ceremony.
