TOPIC : THE GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE.

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.(1John 5:11)

Eternal life is God's gift to everyone that believes in Jesus Christ. Our opening scripture is saying that this is God's record that He has given to us eternal life. We have eternal life life now, eternal life is real now, this is God's testimony, this is God's declaration, this is the record that God has given to us life. Verse 12 says that Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. Hallelujah,

The very first gift God gives to everyone that believes in His Son Jesus is Eternal life. Eternal life is not a life you will receive when you get to heaven. The only place man can receive eternal life is on earth and anyone that do not receive this gift of eternal life will not receive it in heaven and will not even go to heaven. When I was growing up as a young Christian, I used to think that eternal life is when we get to heaven until I came across our opening scripture 1 John 5:11 where the Bible says that God has given to us eternal life, and that this life is in His Son, that He that has the Son has eternal life and He that does not have the son, does not have eternal life. If you check the tenses in the scripture you will see that it is a present tense reality. It is not something that would happen in heaven. It was a promise but it has now been fulfilled in Jesus.

The Bible says in Romans Chapter 6:23 that eternal life isthe gift of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Hallelujah. Why live the human/natural life, when you can live the God life. The Bible says,For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.(John 3:16). Anyone that believes in Jesus, receives eternal life.

Eternal life is the very life of God. It is the essence of divinity and the God kind of life. This life can only be received as a gift through the gospel of Jesus Christ. And you cannot receive more of it than what you received the day you accepted the Lordship of Jesus. Just as a child does not become more human afterbirth, you don't receive more of eternal life by self righteousness. It is the gift of God and You receive the totality of it the moment you believe in God's testimony. It is the gift of the father to everyone in Christ.

This life is revealed and manifested through the gospel. 2Timothy 1:10 says"But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death, and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel" Hallelujah. All done. Don't hope for it. It is now through the gospel. Not when we get to heaven.

He has unveiled life and immortality through the gospel. He has already done it. This is available now through the gospel. If you receive the gospel, you receive eternal life. God has manifested His word of promise through the gospel. Eternal life has come. Don't wait for anyone if you don't have this life yet. All you need to do is to believe the gospel and then confess the Lordship of Christ and His life will be imparted into you. 1. ETERNAL LIFE IS THE VERY FIRST GIFT GOD GIVES TO EVERYONE THAT BELIEVES IN JESUS. (John 3:16, Romans 6:23).

2. ETERNAL LIFE IS NOT A LIFE YOU WILL RECEIVE WHEN YOU GET TO HEAVEN. HEAVEN BELONGS TO THOSE THAT RECEIVES ETERNAL LIFE ON EARTH.

3. THE ONLY PLACE MAN HAS THE OPPORTUNITY TO RECEIVE THE GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE IS WHILE ALIVE ON EARTH. IF YOU HAVE JESUS, YOU HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.THE ONLY WAY TO RECEIVE IT IS TO RECEIVE JESUS. (1John 5:11-12)

4. WHY LIVE THE HUMAN LIFE, WHEN YOU CAN ACTUALLY LIVE THE GOD LIFE?

5.JUST AS A CHILD DOES NOT BECOME MORE HUMAN AFTER BIRTH, YOU CAN NOT HAVE MORE OF ETERNAL LIFE AFTER SALVATION THROUGH SELF RIGHTEOUSNESS. IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD.(Romans 6:23).

6. ETERNAL LIFE IS REVEALED AND MANIFESTED THROUGH THE GOSPEL. IT IS AVAILABLE THROUGH THE GOSPEL. ( 2 Timothy 1:10).

7. ETERNAL LIFE HAS COME. DON'T WAIT ANYMORE, DON'T HOPE FOR IT AND DON'T PRAY FOR IT. JUST ACCEPT JESUS. HE HAS UNVEILED LIFE AND IMMORTALITY THROUGH THE GOSPEL. (2Timothy 1:10, 1Titus 1:2-3).

In hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before the ages began;

But has in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Savior;(1Titus 1:2-3)

PRAYER.

Father in the Name of Jesus, thank you for the gift of eternal life. I believe your testimony and believe that Jesus is the only way, the truth and the life. Your life is at work in me. I'm supernatural and divine and therefore I walk in divine heath and in divine favor, and every step I take is divinely orchestrated, In Jesus Name. Amen.
