"and he will speak words to you by which you will be saved, you and all your household.'(Acts 11:14).
One of the greatest tools in life and the most important thing in life is the Word of God. His word is so powerful and it can make you in life. God created this whole world by Words, He spoke the Word and creation came into being. Jesus is the Word of God made flesh(John 1:14) and the Word is God. The Bible says in John 1:1-4)"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. In Him was life; and the life was the light of men." Hallelujah. The word of God is important and it is life and light. The bible gives the word personality and when God wants to save, He sends His word. So, to ignore God's word is to ignore your miracles, it is to ignore your solutions and it is to ignore your answers and the things that rightly belongs to you. God does not do anything without His word and His Spirit. Even in the account of creation in Genesis, it was His word and the Holy Spirit that made creation possible(Gen 1:2). Light came into being when God spoke the word and when God wants to save, He sends you His word. Hallelujah.
He saves you when you hear His word and this is why the preaching of the gospel is so important. The Bible says in Acts 13:38-39 that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. And by Him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. Hallelujah. He saves through words. Your good works alone will not be able to save you without His word so you need His word. Look at the account in the Bible about cornelius in Acts, He was a good man but that did not save him until an angel appeared to him and told him to send men to Joppa to fetch Peter who would tell Him words to be saved. Here is the account. Reading from Acts 11:13-14 "He told us how he had seen an angel appear in his house and say, 'Send to Joppa for Simon who is called Peter and he will speak words to you by which you will be saved, you and all your household.'" And the chapter before the 11th, the Bible gives the full account. It says in Acts 10:1-2 "At Caesarea there was a man named Cornelius, a centurion in what was known as the Italian Regiment. He and all his family were devout and God-fearing; he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly." Hallelujah.
The man did everything and yet he was not saved, He was devout, He was prayerful, He was giving arms, he was God fearing and yet he was not saved. God said to him send men to Peter and when Peter comes he will tell you words by which you and your household shall be saved.(Acts 10:5, Acts 11:13-14). Words to be saved. Why didn't the angels send him the words? It's because the gospel is committed to men. It's our honor to preach the gospel. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 5:19"To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation". Hallelujah. He has committed to us the responsibility to bring His word to you and His word is coming to you today. Your healing and miracles are coming to you as you receive His word.
When He wants to heal you, He sends His word to you. Psalms 107:20 say "He sent out His word and healed them; He rescued them from the grave". Hallelujah. I say, His word is coming to you. And What you do with His word that comes to you is your responsibility. If you don't receive His word, His word will not produce a Miracle in you. Heb 4:2 shows us how this works. It says "For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it." Hallelujah. So when you mix the word with faith it works for you. Whatever you desire of Him, you can receive today by faith and if you are not yet born again all you need to do to be saved is to scrol down to the salvation prayer under this devotion and take the prayers believing it in your heart and the miracle of salvation will take place in your life today. 7 THOUGHTS OF TREASURE TO PONDER ON:
1. HE SAVES THROUGH HIS WORD AND ALL THAT BELIEVE ARE JUSTIFIED AND MADE FREE.(Acts 11:14, Acts 13:38-39).
2. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN LIFE IS THE WORD OF GOD. HIS WORD CAN MAKE YOU.(Acts 20:32).
3. JESUS IS THE WORD OF GOD MADE FLESH AND CREATION CAME INTO BEING THROUGH GOD'S WORD.(John 1:1-4, 14).
4. TO IGNORE GOD'S WORD IS TO IGNORE YOUR MIRACLES, ANSWERS AND SOLUTIONS.(John 1:14, Gen 1:2).
5. YOUR GOOD WORKS ALONE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SAVE YOU WITHOUT HIS WORD. (Acts 10:1-2, Acts 11:13-14).
6. GOD HAS COMMITTED TO US THE MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION AND WE HAVE THE HONOR TO BRING WORDS TO MEN BY WHICH THEY WILL BE SAVED.(1 Corinthians 5:19, Acts 11:13-14, Acts 10:5).
7. HE SENT HIS WORD AND HEALED THEM. HIS WORD WORKS FOR YOU WHEN YOU RECEIVE IT AND MIX IT BY FAITH.(Psalms 107:20, Hebrews 4:2)
AFFIRMATION.
I am alive unto God and His word is living and active in me. I live by the word of God for the word is life and light. The word of God is the lamb unto my feet and the light unto my path. I do not walk in darkness or in confusion because I have the light of life and the word of God illuminates my paths. I have direction, insight and I walk in Wisdom in Jesus Name Amen.
