TOPIC : DELIVERED FROM DARKNESS.
BOOK: THOUGHTS OF TREASURE DAILY DEVOTIONAL.
For He delivered us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son,(Colossians 1:13).
This is one of the benefits of salvation. Deliverance from the domain of darkness. The bible says in Colossians 1:12-13
Giving thanks unto the Father, who has made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:For He delivered us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, Hallelujah. If you are born again, happy are you, because God the Father has delivered you from the domain of darkness and has transferred you into the kingdom of light. I want you to notice the tenses of the scripture above, the Bible did not say that God will deliver you from darkness but it says giving thanks to the Father who has made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light, for He has delivered us from the domain of darkness, He has delivered you from the power of darkness, He has delivered you from the power of sickness, He has delivered you from the power of poverty and your response now should be that of Thanksgiving.
Thank God for His word. Instead of praying for deliverance, thank Him for the deliverance, thank Him for His blessings. 2 Peter 1:3 says that His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness. Hallelujah. Note the word knowledge above from that scripture. It says that God has given us everything through the knowledge of Him..., God has given you deliverance, God has given you His word and everything you require for life and you make it yours through knowledge. Proverbs 11:9 says by knowledge the righteous are delivered. I do not know how many Christians around the world that are looking for deliverance, I don't know what this scriptures means to you but if you will understand this, you will begin to walk in your liberty because God has already delivered us according to the scriptures. God said He has delivered us. When? When Jesus died, the payment for all sins was made. The death of Jesus was the complete payment for sin forever. The Bible says in Acts 13:38-39 "that through this man(Jesus) is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:And by Him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
All that believed in Jesus are Justified and delivered. So, when you are born again you receive eternal life and are translated into the kingdom of light. Hallelujah. In John 8:12 Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. Hallelujah. If you have Jesus you have everything, if you have Jesus, you have it made for life, if you have Jesus, you are delivered from the domain of darkness, if you have Jesus, the life and the nature of God is available to you know. John writing in 1 John 5:13
I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. Hallelujah. If you have believed in the name of the son of God, you have eternal life, if you have believed in the name of the son of God you have been delivered and transferred into the kingdom of life. This is your status now. Glory to God.
And if you have not yet believed in the name of the son of God, the Bible says in Romans 10:9 "If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." 7 THOUGHTS OF TREASURE TO PONDER ON:
1. ONE OF THE BENEFITS OF SALVATION IS DELIVERANCE.(Colossians 1:13).
2. INSTEAD OF PRAYING FOR DELIVERANCE, THANK GOD FOR DELIVERANCE BECAUSE HE ALREADY ANSWERED THE PRAYER. (Colossians 1:12-13).
3. GOD HAS GIVEN TO US EVERYTHING THAT WE NEED FOR GODLINESS. WE CAN LIVE THE LIFE OF GOD ON EARTH.(2 Peter 1:3).
4. THE KEY TO ENJOYING ALL THAT GOD HAS DONE IN CHRIST FOR US IS KNOWLEDGE. THROUGH KNOWLEDGE THE JUST IS DELIVERED INTO THEIR INHERITANCE. (2 Peter 1:2-3, Proverbs 11:9).
5. THE DEATH OF JESUS WAS THE COMPLETE PAYMENT FOR SIN AND ALL THAT BELIEVED IN JESUS ARE JUSTIFIED AND DELIVERED. (Acts 13:38-39).
6. IF YOU HAVE JESUS YOU HAVE THE LIGHT OF LIFE, YOU HAVE EVERYTHING AND YOU HAVE IT MADE.(John 8:12).
7. IF YOU HAVE BELIEVED IN JESUS, YOU HAVE ETERNAL LIFE AND THE NATURE OF GOD IN YOUR SPIRIT AND GOD HAS TRANSLATED YOU FROM DARKNESS TO LIGHT.(1 John 5:13, Colossians 1:12-13).
AFFIRMATION.
I declare that Jesus is the Lord of my life and my home and therefore I am delivered from the domain of darkness. I am free from sickness and all the elements of this world. I declare that the eternal life of God is at work in me and I live in divine health, I live in abundance, peace and prosperity in Jesus Name. Amen.
