Incoherent is an anarchistic typeface. It doesn’t abide by the generic laws of legibility. It was inspired by unreadable and scruffy handwriting. I wanted to test the limits of serif letter-forms by manipulating the positive and negative space, therefore it seemed appropriate to name it Incoherent, as it challenges the coherence of typography.
