This project was to re-imagine an existing brand. I chose Dr. Oetker's 'natural extract' and 'food colouring' range.. The existing bottles allow the liquid to drip down the side when it's poured - which could lead to some messy stains! My concept was to revolutionise the packaging through cleanliness and control, by changing the way the liquid is dispensed to smaller drops using pipettes.
Dr. August Oetker was a German pharmacist, which translates as 'apotheke'. This seemed very fitting as it tied in with the apothecary-style pipette bottles, and it also inspired the label design which features vintage typography and looks aged.
