As part of the re-Branding process this product design and development initiative was undertaken to upgrade the classic Flagship Lumala Standard 281/2" bike. This bicycle is widely used and dependent upon by the majority working class (of all ages/both sexes and all walks of life alike) thought-out Sri Lanka for mainly transportation and as a means of sustaining self employment. This flagship bike has been a popular front runner and serving the masses for over 30 years in regions where public transport is very scarce.  It is time that the people's popular choice had an upgrade yet be affordable to the very same people who's livelihoods depend upon it and have been loyal Lumala customers for decades.
