City and County of Denver – Pocketgov.org Ad Campaign
In this modern age, there is a need for residents to quickly and easily access our most popular government services anytime, anywhere. Pocketgov.com, Denver’s online service center, provides residents with access to essential city services and schedules, all at the touch of a button.

In winter of 2018, Denver ran a social media campaign focusing on city services that could be completed on Pocketgov.com. For this campaign, we focused on a “Did You Know” theme to educate residents on just some of the 34 services built into the application.
The Process: Did You Know? Campaign
From December 18 to January 14, we ran a campaign targeted at Denver residents who were 21 and over on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. We choose six services based on those that generated the highest call volume to 311. The services used in the campaign were trash and recycling, renew your plates, recycle trees/lights, trash/ recycling schedule, damaged recycle/trash container, and injured wildlife.

We used Adobe Illustrator to create the iconography and the graphics. For this campaign, we used a similar look and design for all the graphics to reinforce the message across all mediums.
The Result? More Engagement with Pocketgov.com
Each “Did You Know” post got a $100 boost. Posts got 1,305 to 12,800 impressions, with a total of 920 people taking action. The cost per engagement ranged from 21 cents to 37 cents – a high return on investment.

This campaign helped educate Denver residents about the many services that can be completed online rather than in-line.
