TOPIC :THE WORD OF GOD IS DEPENDABLE.
BOOK: THOUGHTS OF TREASURE DAILY DEVOTIONAL.
And now I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you the inheritance among all them that are sanctified.(Acts 20:32).
The word of God is dependable and it's able to build you up. The description of the word of God is so amazing. In John 1:1-3) the bible says "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God, All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." The Bible does not call the word of God "it". It calls the word of God "Him". It gives a personal pronouns to the word of God. Verse 4 of John 1 says In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men". You can have a personal relationship with the word of God. You can relate with the word and you can trust God's word. It's dependable and will never fail you. Your friends may fail you but God's word is dependable and you can bank your life on the word of God.
The word of God is absolute reality. The word of God is full of grace and truth(John1:14). Hallelujah. There's nothing that can be compared in this life with the word of God. He gave us His word to live by. He commended us to His word. If you would learn to operate by the principles of the word, you would become an absolute success in everything you do. The word will cause you to prosper and be above only. He says "And now I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified."
Hallelujah. It doesn’t matter how life might have treated you. If you would give yourself to the word of God, the word will transform you. The word will build you up Spiritually, Financially, Mentally, and Emotionally and usher you in into your inheritance. The word of God is dependable.
The word of God is the light of life and to live and not know the word of God is a tragedy. How could a man live in this dark world without the light of God’s Word? That would be liecence to hardship and darkness. John 1: 9 says that the word of God is the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. Hallelujah.
I wonder how one could know about all the celebrities and other things in life and yet without effort to know the word. How could you understand life without knowing the word of God? No wonder psalms 82:5-7 says
"They do not know nor do they understand; They walk about in darkness; All the foundations of the earth are shaken."I said, 'You are "gods"; you are all sons of the Most High.'"Nevertheless you will die like men And fall like any one of the princes." . Did you see that? . So, If they knew that their victory in life and success are in the word of God, they'd fall in love with the word and would study the word every day. But you see, it takes revelation to know God and for anyone to know these things.(1Samuel 3:7). The goodnews is, If you seek to know God, the Holy Spirit would unveil the word of God to you.Thank God for the Holy Spirit, He reveals the word of God to us and makes it possible for us to relate with the word in such a way that we could talk to the word and the word talks back to us. We hear His voice as His sheep. Hallelujah.
The word of God gives direction. If you have the word in you, you will never loose your way or walk in confusion. Psalms 119:105 says the word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.The word of God is life and light itself. It lights our paths. To live without the word of God is to live in darkness and without life. The revelation of the word of God will revolutionise your life. The word of God is the greatest discovery in life and a mystery to the natural mind. It's a discovery, the more you study the word, the more you discover more about what you have and what you can do with the word. You know Christianity does not do something for us. You are the one to do something with your Christianity. You are the one that does something with the word of God. A lot of people miss it here, and they think because they have been a Christian for years that God should hear their prayers and do something for them. No sir, He gave us His word so we could do something with it and use it to create what we want. He commended us to His word.
THOUGHTS TO PONDER ON:
1. THE WORD OF GOD IS DEPENDABLE AND IT'S ABLE TO BUILD YOU UP. (Acts 20:32).
2. YOU CAN HAVE A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH THE WORD OF GOD.
3. THE BIBLE CALLS THE WORD OF GOD "HIM" AND NOT "IT' AND GIVES IT A PERSONAL PRONOUN.(John 1:1-4).
4. THE WORD OF GOD IS ABSOLUTE REALITY, FULL OF GRACE AND TRUTH.(John 1:14).
5. THE WORD OF GOD IS THE LIGHT OF LIFE AND TO LIVE AND NOT KNOW THE WORD OF GOD IS A TRAGEDY. (John 1:9).
6. IF YOU SEEK TO KNOW GOD, THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL UNVEIL THE WORD OF GOD TO YOU AND REVEAL TO YOU THE MYSTERIES OF THE KINGDOM.
7. IF YOU HAVE THE WORD IN YOU, YOU WILL NEVER WALK IN DARKNESS, OR WALK IN CONFUSION OR LOOSE YOUR WAY IN LIFE(Psalm 119:105).
PRAYER.
Father God, thank you for the revelation of your word and for unveiling the mysteries of the kingdom and your word to me through the Holy Spirit. I yield myself to you and I seek to know you more. You are the essence of life and the beauty of life.
FURTHER QUOTES.
