TOPIC : THE BASIS OF OUR CONFIDENCE

"Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as you have: for he has said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you.
So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do to me".(Hebrew 13:5-6)

There are two important lines from the above scripture in our reading today that I would like us to pick and then join together for life applications into any Situation.

First is: FOR HE HAS SAID.

Second : SO THAT WE MAY BOLDLY SAY.

Join together : For He has said, so that we may boldly say.

Next important thing, what has He said? God has said a lot and made a lot of promises for His kids. From the above scripture, He has said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you.

Application : We say what He has said.

So here, because He has said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you, so we say in confidence, the Lord is my helper and I will not fear what man shall do to me. Glory to God.

Apply this principle in any Situation. This is the principal basis of our confession. We say the things God has said concerning us. We say the things that are revealed in His word concerning us. We pray His word over our lives. We confess His word over our lives. For faith in God to be faith it has to be based on God's word. Our confession has to be based on God's word. Our prayers has to be based on God's word. And if we do and pray according to His word, then we know he hears and answers us. "this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us".(1John 5:14)

When you face any situation, search and study His word to find out what God has said concerning such Situation. For example if you are sick and require healing, search His word on the subject of Healing and say with your mouth what the scripture says concernig healing. 1 Peter 2:24 says
"He himself bore our sins" in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; "by his wounds you have been healed."

So you declare with your mouth in the light of the above scripture. I am healed because by His stripes or wounds I have been healed.

We trust His word and we say whatever He has said concerning us. And the beautiful thing about all this is that God has fulfilled all His promises in Christ towards us and His answer to our request and faith proclamation are always a resounding Yes in Christ(2Cor 1:20). He has given us Peace, Joy, life, Health and all things that partain to life and Godliness through the knowledge of Christ and His word. (2Peter 1:3)

You will always win in life if your walk of faith and confessions are based on God's word. No devil or force on earth will successfully bring you down or defeat you. Anyone that seek to bring you down has a defined path from God and it is called. "they stumbled and fell" Psalm 27:2 says "When the wicked, even my enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell". Hallelujah.

Everyone has their place in the world; that of my adversories or detractors is " they stumbled and fell".

4.- WHAT WE SAY IS AS A RESULT OF HIS REVEALED WORD AND WHAT HE HAS SAID.

5.- FOR FAITH IN GOD TO BE FAITH, IT HAS TO BE BASED ON GOD'S WORD.

6.- SEARCH HIS WORD ABOUT ANY SITUATION AND APPLY HIS REVEALED WISDOM FOR A MIRACLE ON THE SITUATION.

7. - YOU WILL ALWAYS WIN IN LIFE IF YOUR WALK OF FAITH IS BASED ON GOD'S WORD.

PRAYER

Precious Heavenly father, Thank you for the wisdom of your word that is transforming my life and for fulfilling all your promises in Christ. I declare that I am growing in wisdom and in the knowledge of your word. I receive new boldness from your Spirit and the Wisdom to deal with every matter and the affairs of life in Jesus Name.
