Words can be colourful in many different ways, but in this instance, we're talking about ACTUAL colours. 

For the US book jacket of 'Words in Deep Blue' by Cath Crowley, Penguin Random House engaged Jess Cruickshank to letter the title and supporting words, which were superimposed over a photograph that was captured in-house. 

Add a couple on ink speckles into the mix, and below is what resulted.
