It's not every day that we would agree to donate our time and resources to produce a project involving 40 artists! But for a cause as good as World Vision's, it's a no-brainer.
Jacky Winter and World Vision brought 40 Artists together to each create an original artwork exploring the tragedy of conflict and forced displacement. The project is aptly named 40 Artist for 40 Hour Famine.
Every piece brings a unique perspective on how it must feel to live as a refugee: the absence of belonging and loss of 'home' that accompany such a status.
Though each artwork is beautiful - the art itself isn't going to improve the lives and treatment of refugees. Watch the stories of refugee children who've sought asylum under harrowing circumstances - and inspired many of the artworks below - and then please consider donating to the cause.
