Developing a Retail Kit for Hoka One One

HOKA ONE ONE EVENT KIT DEVELOPMENT
Working with Hoka One One an up and coming extreme running shoe brand we developed a retail kit for them to roll out into stores across the UK and Europe.

We developed a scale-able kit that was available in platinum, gold, silver and bronze packages depending on store size and requirements.
Visualisation of the different packages as well as a window display application were developed.
From the first phase of designs certain elements were taken forward and developed.
Once designs were approved these were prototyped and then put into production and rolled out across UK and the EU.
Developing Hoka's TRAVELLING Event Kit
Hoka asked us to develop an mobile event kit that could be used to do the trade show circuit around the UK and EU, the brief was that it had to be lightweight, easy to assemble and it had to all be able to fit in the back of a van.

The system developed was a modular locking shelving system and interlocking flat pack furniture with no fixings for the inside of an inflatable structure. The furniture was all made out of balsa ply a light weight alternative to regular ply and about 1/3 of the weight. The structure was an inflatable dome with rubber mat floor that was blown up by a small generator. It was all designed to be easy to assemble/disassemble and could all pack down small enough to fit in a van.
Example of how the different modules stack in a lattice pattern to form the modular display wall.
All components fit into a standard long wheel base van.
