BRIEF
Designs for 3 canvas tote bags (to be used as packaging for organic food products, such as salt, coffee, and cacao) for Ritual, a zero-waste store in the Philippines
DESIGN DIRECTION
Given the nature of Ritual promoting a more mindful lifestyle, the packaging design was used as an opportunity to make customers more mindful of their foods’ processes and producers. An organic, hand-drawn style was used to reflect the natural and human aspect of the production processes.
PROCESS
To create the bag designs that were later on screen printed, I first sketched the images on paper, accomplished the line art using paint, then digitized and polished the illustrations.
