As our Typography class final, we were instructed to redesign a novel (cover to cover) and create different versions of it.
Contemporary Design | For the contemporary version of Jungle Tales of Tarzan, the design took on a more colorful and illustration-heavy style, with the images being used to depict certain scenarios in the novel.
Futuristic, Postmodern Design | For this version, we were encouraged to be more experimental with our layouts. The design took on a more minimalist and abstract tone, with the images being somewhat used as symbols. I also tried creating a cover without using colors that were usually associated with a jungle theme.
