WHRO Education

WHRO Public Media has many education programs including two professional development sites offering online classes. I developed logo and concepts to completion for both of these initiatives. A series of posters, social media posts, website graphics as well as business cards, ads, flyers and postcards were created and used at many events.

Skills Online

SkillsOnline℠ is an affordable, digitally accessible, career certification and training solution. Providing professional development, workforce training, and competency-based skills development across dozens of industry sectors, SkillsOnline offers thousands of self-paced and instructor-led courses that students of all ages can access on any device.

In addition to skills development, there are over 300 courses that offer industry certifications.

Workplace Ready

Workplace Ready learning modules teach 24 core skills identified by national experts, of which 5 modules are currently available. Workplace Ready self-paced modules are available to every agency, Workforce Investment Board, employer and school across the Commonwealth of Virginia. They also are available through SkillsOnline.org, at every library, career and community center, community college and post-secondary institution in Virginia, all at no charge.
