Two videos about how Lego spans the generations.

The two Lego videos on this page represent a project I did for Britton Marketing and Design Group's blog. What fun this project turned out to be! My son, Sacha, and I worked together to share a glimpse into our Lego world at home and also what Legos have meant to me since I was Sacha's age.

I shot the videos on a 50mm lens and shallow depth of field in order to give the feel of being fully immersed in a child’s world of Legos. I wanted to give you the sense that you are right there building with us. I also recorded the music to accompany the videos, and the sound turned out to be like you’re taking a journey with the Lost Boys to Never Never land. Legos are like Never Never land, because you get to visit your childhood every time you get lost in a building session. Now that I have a 6 year old who is totally into Legos, I get to make that trip a lot more often.

To show how the next generation plays with Legos, Sacha and I made a Lego review video of our most recent set. Thanks to YouTube and all the people reviewing sets like this one, you can get a good feel for what you want your next Lego set to be. How fantastic!
