Afriches is an non profit for the promotion of African Cultures. Every year, it organizes the Chicago African Night which is an extravaganza of African Fashion, dance, music, food and so much more. Chicago African Night
Event by Afriches (Cultural Non Profit)
My friend Wence and I started a non profit cultural organisation a few years ago to promote and raise awareness about true African Cultures & Media.
At the end of every year, we have a fantastic event that gather Chicagoans around food from all over Africa while enjoying other aspects of its cultures through a fashion show, dance and music performances.
As the only member of the organization with some graphic design skills, I was in charge of designing almost every communication medium for the event: Poster, Postcard flyers, Brochure, Sponsorship Package, etc...
It was challenging because we did not have much time between the ideas, the errands, and the rehearsals, but I feel like it was worth the effort.
This poster/flyer was design and published in order to hire models, dancers and other talents for the African Nights.
First Logo Concept Draft.
Final Poster / Postcard Design
Social Media Strategy included changing the Facebook profile Page Image.
