Hotel Slovenia prides itself on a first-rate position in the center of Portorož, and offers exceptional views of Piran and Slovenian seascape. Some of the first design considerations was the logic of designing and refreshing most of architectural elements and a new appearance of the hotel. In the forefront was the economic background of renovation. With intention of a functional, clean architectural stroke and division of facility, the design propounds daring intervention into the stall and the level of the structure. The proposition restores a new junction between the lobby and the congress center, also a new panoramic roof terrace.The whole complex is (volume wise) divided into three sections: transparent stall, ‘floating’ restaurant volume and the accomodation volume.
