Fin Design collaborated with ColensoBBDO to create the latest BNZ brand campaign which was directed by the Glue Society for Revolver Films.
The story follows the life of a dollar coin, from when it is freshly minted through all the journeys and transactions it will find itself in during it's lifetime. My role was to give overall project supervision, animation direction for the previz and design direction for various scenes throughout the commercial. Below is the dream sequence appearing half way through the commercial which I directed which highlights the highs and lows that our BNZ coin experiences.
This previz example was made before the shoot as an interpretation from illustrated storyboards.
Many ideas and scenarios were explored to show both client and the director what could be shot in camera using macro lenses, and what would have to be created using CG.
