Nestlé brings artisan chocolate making to the supermarket shelves with Les Recettes d’Atelier, a collection of chocolate tablets that, due to the process of creating, are all unique in taste and form. To market this innovative product the idea was to design a pack that gives a feeling of a small chocolatier. Key words are genuine chocolate, transparency and creativity. The product is so beautiful, why not let it speak for itself.
The design is build around a trompe l'oeil image of the actual product. The artisan spirit comes to life through the paper texture and the graphic treatment in text and Nestlé logo, whereas the creativity of the recipes are visualized by simple but tasteful ingredient photography on an organic watercolour background.
