Vinyl Covers Project
In this project, I was challenged to create 7 inch vinyl record covers and staged social media from a previous project.

I took digital Ghost Portrait photographs to create an ethereal aura for individually selected Stevie Nicks/Fleetwood Mac songs.
Using my Canon EOS Rebel T3I camera, I adjusted the ISO and shutter speed to create ghostly portraits of different subjects. I collaborated with the subjects and we created fun scenes, some with elaborate costumes that I provided.

From there, I looked through my playlist for Stevie Nicks/Fleetwood Mac songs that could go with the portraits.

I narrowed it down to "Annabel Lee" (Stevie Nicks), "Rhiannon" (Fleetwood Mac), "Sisters of the Moon" (Fleetwood Mac), "Tusk" (Fleetwood Mac), and "Wide Sargasso Sea" (Stevie Nicks).

From there, I found mockups of 7 inch vinyl records and their covers. I also provided different typefaces for each one.
I chose each typeface for the individual songs the photographs went to.

For Annabel Lee, I chose Edwardian Script ITC Regular for its beauty. Based on the Edgar Allan Poe poem of the same name, I wanted to keep its sense of elegance.

Rhiannon was similar to Annabel; the song itself is both elegant and soulful, so I chose the Scriptina Regular typeface since it was able to capture Rhiannon's soul.

Sisters of the Moon's typeface was a little tricky to narrow down to, but I chose to use Blackadder ITC Regular for its serifs. The type's design helped carry the mystical feeling of the song.

Tusk was one of the easiest typefaces to choose. I found Circus Regular and loved the design. I felt it went well with the song's unhinged, primal music.

Wide Sargasso Sea typeface was easy to picture, but difficult to find. I wanted to find a typeface that could capture the burning revenge story within the song. When I found the typeface HotLibrarian Regular, I knew it was perfect because the design of the majority of the serifs shows off several flames.
Finally, I staged an Instagram post about these records.
