About
The Canadian Royal Mint wanted some form of digital experience to support the launch of their Canadian Arctic Expedition series of coins. Working with Jam3, they decided to target kids with a beautifully designed game. 
 
The best experiences are always the simplest ones. This is especially true in this case for two reasons: 
We had incredible content and the interactions needed to be invisible so as not to distract. 
We were designing for kids. 
 
While not visible in the wires, the biggest challenge with this project was the simplification of the flow of the experience. There were many elements that had to be integrated, and they could feel overwhelming. I worked hard to ensure each element was distinct and understandable. On top of that, I made the interactions as clear and obvious as I could. I didn’t want kids to multitask within the experience with many layers of content. So I pushed for whatever is in focus, to be the focus.
