HollisWealth
DundeeWealth was rebranding as HollisWealth. They wanted a new website to launch with, and to help them break out of the traditional financial mould.

Their existing website was what you would expect for a high end financial firm: functional and corporate. Early on we recognized it needed to move from listing services and their history, to telling the story of HollisWealth. From a design perspective, we settled on parallax for its ability to visually weave a story and for being unique among financial firms.

During the content audit, I identified that HollisWealth was a lived brand: the leadership team had strong values, but they were not written down anywhere. As a result, step one was to conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to determine what HollisWealth stood for (the story).

This was the first time I had worked with parallax. I recognized that these would be the most 'vague' wires I would create, since it's impossible to wire the richness of interactions and visuals required in parallax. To compensate, I worked lockstep with the Art Director and Copywriter. It was a true collaborative design process.

The website launched to much fanfare. Internally, it became their brand guidelines. Externally it caused a stir due to its simple storytelling and widely different experience.
